Will this work for me if i'm a complete beginner?

Volume 01 is built for it. The prerequisite is simple: you can run 5K (any pace) and squat your bodyweight. The first 4 weeks ease you into the volume gradually. By week 12, you'll cross the finish line. No prior HYROX experience required.

I've already been training for hyrox. is volume 01 too basic for me?

Probably yes — skip it. If you've already raced HYROX or trained for 6+ months with structured programming, start at Volume 02 (Sub-90) or Volume 03 (Elite) depending on your current finish time. Under 100 minutes → start at Volume 02. Already sub-90 → go straight to Volume 03.

What equipment do I need?

A standard commercial gym with sled, rower, ski-erg, sandbag, and wall ball covers 95% of the programming. If your gym doesn't have a ski-erg (the most commonly missing piece), substitutions are provided. You don't need a HYROX-affiliated gym to follow the program.

How much time per week does this take?

Volume 01: 4–5 sessions per week, 60–90 minutes each. Volume 02: 5–6 sessions per week, 75–105 minutes each. Volume 03: 6 sessions per week plus mobility work, 90–120 minutes each. Every session has a clear time estimate. If you have less than 4 hours a week, this program isn't for you yet.

Is this only for HYROX Singles, or also Doubles, Relay, and Women's Pro?

Built around HYROX Singles (Open and Pro), male and female athletes. The pacing models work identically for women — only the absolute target times differ. For Doubles, most protocols transfer cleanly with minor volume adjustments. For Relay, you'll need to scale your individual share of the work.

How is the program delivered? Is it really instant?
